Sumit Punn has been appointed the new Director of Loss Prevention at the Ritz-Carlton Bangalore, a luxury hotel located in Bengaluru, India.

Punn brings years of hotel security executive experience to the role, having previously held loss prevention and security leadership positions at JW Marriott, Wyndham Hotel Group, Jaypee Hotels and Hyatt Hotels Corporation before returning to Marriott International. 

Punn started in security in 2008, working as a security officer for Chubb Fire & Security before transitioning into the hospitality sector. Since his entrance into the field, Punn has managed security operations, maintained compliance and developed and implemented security procedures across a range of hotel facilities.
