Headquartered in Coralville, Iowa, Kinseth Hospitality represents select and full-service hotels, restaurants, catering and meeting facilities across 15 U.S. states.

Kinseth Hospitality works with brands in the hotel and events industry including Hilton, Marriott, IHG, Radisson, Best Western and Wyndham, as well as convention centers and restaurant groups.

In order to advance security strategy and hotel staff safety across 101 Kinseth Hospitality properties, the hospitality group has implemented associate alert devices from Relay to its facilities, with over 2,000 employees throughout the midwestern and southern United States.

The pocket-size emergency alert device will be available for Kinseth Hospitality employees working in management, guest services, housekeeping, maintenance and restaurant front-of and back-of-house staff.

Unlike traditional two-way radios, the panic alert devices operate on WiFi and 4G networks that enable users to benefit from uninterrupted communications. The data, analytics and mapping capabilities of the devices can integrate into security operations systems.

The security solution includes a panic alert function, GPS and 3D mapping, delivery verification and a communications system.

Hotel unions, state and local governments across the nation are proposing legislation for the safety of hospitality staff by mandating panic buttons for hospitality workers. Bills have been passed in eight states. Pennsylvania (HB1944) and Georgia (SB389) are the latest to introduce panic button legislation.
