Transmit Security announced it has named Meron Behar as its new Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).

Behar will be responsible for expanding the company’s security organization and creating a framework for managing risks; protecting customer data and customer-facing services; and aligning the company’s processes and services with compliance and regulatory requirements.

Behar will be based in Transmit Security’s Tel Aviv office and responsible for building out the company’s full information and security business unit, as well as designing its security programs. During his career, Behar has established multiple product security teams and led security programs as a CISO for both insurance and investment firms, most recently as the Deputy CISO at Nuvei, a fintech payment processor.
