William Burns selected as CIA Director for Biden Administration

President-elect Joe Biden has chosen Williams Burns to be his CIA director. Burns is a veteran diplomat and former ambassador to Russia and Jordan. He has had a 30-plus-year career with the State department under both Democratic and Republican presidents.
Burns became Deputy Secretary of State before retiring in 2014. He then ran the Carnegie Endowment of International Peace.
