The Hamilton County Election Commission in Tennessee plans to utilize money from the Federal Cares Act to focus on physical security at poll locations.

Security cameras will be used for surveillance and will replace existing cameras and blindspots, according to Hamilton County Administrator Kerry Steelman. The decision comes after the county's Sheriff's department conducted a physical vulnerability assessment and determined existing cameras to be too old.

The county has also received funding for cybersecurity bolstering to prevent voter fraud misinterpreted votes.
