Requiring no ambient light and providing excellent image quality in darkness, smoke or fog, Hanwha Techwin’s IP-based Wisenet thermal cameras are capable of long-range detection. The high-contrast thermal images make motion detection and other analytics highly accurate; motion detection with handover enables thermal cameras to inform standard pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) cameras where to target their lenses to gather additional information on an event. The thermal cameras can also detect temperature changes in the frame, potentially detecting a piece of overheating equipment early.
