ASIS 2015: Opportunities for Security Education
The ASIS International Annual Seminar and Exhibits has supported the growth of security professionals from vocation to profession. This year’s 61st Annual Seminar and Exhibits – Evolve 2 Advance (ASIS 2015) – will step up the game once again. It will run from September 28 through October 1 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. The colocation of (ISC)2 Security Congress with ASIS 2015 once again brings operational and information security professionals together to better understand each other’s roles across the enterprise, gain new insights, and work together to mitigate risk in all its forms.
Attendees can choose among Pre-Seminar Programs covering subjects from managing security technologies to security issues related to banking healthcare, school security and many others. Review programs for Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) and Physical Security Professional (PSP), ASIS’s three certifications, also will be offered.
On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 200+ sessions will cover the full range of operational and IT-centric security topics, including: The ANSI/ASIS Supply Chain Risk Management Standard; Getting the Most from Your Global Operations Center; Megatrends Affecting Security’s Future; Behavior Detection and Assessment at The Mall of America; Mobile Innovation and Security; Social Media and Security Applied Sciences and many, many others.
For senior security executives, the CSO Roundtable will host a series of informative sessions focused on global threats, Jihadism, economic espionage, and crime in the C-Suite.
