This wall-mounted trauma case provides the simplicity of a fire extinguisher and the functionality of an AED to enable “Immediate Responders” – citizens, coworkers, community members – to apply life-saving interventions in an emergency until first responders arrive. In active shooter situations, law enforcement’s priority will be on finding and subduing the threat and then securing the scene, not necessarily helping anyone injured. This kit enables civilians on site to administer basic medical aid to victims, and it takes less than 30 minutes to train someone without any medical knowledge how to use the Responder Bag to its full capacity. Training is accomplished through short videos, direction cards and training sessions.
