BEARACADE Door Control System

This device fits quickly and easily on any interior door to prevent the door from opening in either direction. Once in place, the BEARACADE can withstand more than 4,500 pounds of external force. Since the device is not part of the door, it does not violate 24/7/265 codes, and it can be simply deployed by sliding the device under the door, closing the door and inserting the pin from the door interior. To deactivate the device, a user would just remove the pin and open the door as usual. The device can be defaulted from the outside or hallway side of the door by administrators using a proprietary tool.
