When every single credential has to be read correctly – in the snow, rain, heat and gloom of night – a strong reader is necessary to handle high-security applications in extreme weather and rough environments. This reader combines embedded Lumidigm fingerprint biometrics, smartcards, PKI and digital signature technologies, earning a FIPS 201 certification and approval from the TSA. It is also used for cloud-based perimeter access control with real-time biometrics verification.
