This AXIS Q7424-R Video Encoder enables flexible migration of analog cameras to an IP-based video surveillance system in tough environments. With a design to endure vibrations, electrical shocks and extreme heat, the video encoder is ideal for applications such as traffic monitoring, city surveillance, airport terminals and railway stations. The product encodes one to four analog video sources and supports IP surveillance features such as full frame rate (30 fps) multistream H.264 and motion JPEG compression per channel, two-way audio, edge storage with the built-in SD/SDHC memory card slot, and Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af). It features a 1 GBPS small form-factor pluggable (SFP) slot for single and multimode fiber connection as well as an Ethernet port.
