Tridium Honored with 2008 “Digie” Award

July 1, 2008

Each year the Realcomm Conference recognizes companies, projects, and solutions that demonstrate the most innovative use of technology and automation in the commercial and corporate real estate industry with the “Digie” Awards.

Recognizing Tridium’s continued commitment to the development of IP based solutions, innovative incorporation of wireless technology for facilities management applications and commitment to leadership in the design of components and systems that enable automation and efficient large-scale building operations, the company’s new Sedona Framework was awarded the 2008 “Digie” Award for Most Innovative and Best Use of Technology in the Building Technologies category at this year’s Realcomm Conference.

The Sedona Framework is the industry’s first, open source development framework providing a complete software platform for developing, deploying, integrating, and managing pervasive device applications at the lowest level. Sedona distributes decision making control and manageability to any device and brings intelligence and connectivity to the network edge and back.

About Realcomm

Providing worldwide perspectives on commercial real estate, corporate real estate, and technology, Realcomm is able to incorporate their ideas with “real estates best and brightest technology minds.” The organization educates industry professionals on business solutions and technologies with the intent of improving how we utilize and manage commercial real estate. Security Magazine will have coverage from Realcomm in its August 2008 issue.
