Presence Detector for Industrial Doors
January 1, 2005
Pittsburgh-based B.E.A. Inc. has launched the Iris presence detection sensor. With an infinite learn time feature, and the same focused, active infrared technology in the company’s Wizard sensor, the Iris provides greater safety in industrial environments. The header-mounted sensor generates two rows of 24 precise beams to detect objects in the door’s path throughout the door-opening and door-closing cycles.
