Biometric Contactless Smart Cards

HID Corp., Irvine, Calif., announced the expansion of its contactless smart card programmer family with the addition of the iCLASS CP575A, which enables graphical user interface (GUI)-based programming of security-based applications, biometric capabilities and card management functions. End users can program cards on-site with access control data, biometric templates, and PIN codes for additional security.
