Nonlethal Response
January 1, 2005
San Diego-based PepperBall Technologies Inc.’s launchers are semi-automatic and powered by high-pressure-air. Accurate up to 60 feet, they can saturate an area with PAVA pepper irritant from up to 150 feet away. The system allows peace-keeping forces, law enforcement officers, guards or other authorized operatives to deliver a non-lethal yet incapacitating deterrent to individuals or crowds.
