Retired U.S. Army Major General William J. Walker will be honored by the Federal Enforcement Homeland Security Foundation at the 2026 Ridge Awards Gala. General Walker currently serves as the Chief Security Officer at Allied Universal.

“General Walker is a respected member of Allied Universal’s leadership team whose experience, judgment and commitment to service strengthen our organization and reinforce our commitment to safety and security,” said Steve Jones, global chairman and CEO of Allied Universal. “This recognition is a fitting tribute to his extraordinary career protecting our nation, leading through complex challenges and advancing security excellence. We are proud to congratulate him on this well-deserved honor.”

Walker joined Allied Universal in 2023, bringing decades of civilian and military executive leadership experience to the company. As chief security officer, he helps advance the company’s security strategy and serves as a resource to customers developing comprehensive programs to help protect people, property and assets. He also provides strategic guidance on risk, operational readiness, technology and the effective allocation of security resources.

Walker previously served as the 38th Sergeant at Arms of the U.S. House of Representatives, where he was the chief law enforcement, protocol and security officer for the House. His career includes service as commanding general of the District of Columbia National Guard, deputy assistant administrator for the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and deputy director of the National Intelligence Coordination Center.  He is also a veteran of Operations Noble Eagle and Enduring Freedom.

“General Walker’s career represents an extraordinary commitment to protecting our nation and serving others,” said Ariel K. Grossman, Chief Operating Officer of the Federal Enforcement Homeland Security Foundation. “His leadership and dedication embody the principles celebrated by the FEHSF Ridge Awards Gala and provide a powerful example for the next generation of leaders across the law enforcement and national security communities.”

The 2026 FEHSF Ridge Awards Gala takes place as the nation commemorates the 250th anniversary of America’s founding and the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks. The event will honor service, remembrance and the enduring responsibility to support the families standing behind those who help protect the nation.
