US Survey Respondents Indicate Desire for Additional Gun Detection

A survey by Propeller Insights and Eagle Eye Networks found that 77% of Americans believe that gun detection technology should be implemented in schools, workplaces, and other public spaces. Eighty-six percent of parents claim they would feel more confident sending their children to a school with gun detection technology.
In addition, office workers across the nation mirrored this sentiment with 74.4% of workers in the U.S. saying they feel safer working in offices that have gun detection technology in place.
Respondents expressed broad support for integrating gun detection tools with existing video surveillance systems as part of comprehensive safety measures, with 90% of Americans — regardless of political party — saying they would feel more confident if schools had gun detection integrated with video surveillance.
