DefenseStorm announced William Wetherill as the new CISO, effective January 1, 2024. After nine years, Robert Thibodeaux, the company's Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), will retire and Wetherill will step in as the new CISO.

Stepping into the role of CISO, Wetherill brings a wealth of experience in the field of cybersecurity with a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by financial institutions and a commitment to innovation. Prior to joining DefenseStorm, Wetherill was CISO at University of North Carolina Wilmington.
