According to the latest stats from SophosLabs, the USA is back on top as the leading spam relaying country. In the last three months, almost one fifth of all global spam has come from computers in the Land of the Free. The socalled Dirty Dozen of top spam relayers has a few changes from the last time.

1. USA 18.3 percent 2. China 8.2 percent 3. India 4.2 percent 4. Peru 4.0 percent 5. France 3.4 percent 5. S. Korea 3.4 percent 5. Italy 3.4 percent 8. Taiwan 2.9 percent 8. Russia 2.9 percent 10. Spain 2.8 percent 11. Germany 2.7 percent 12. Iran 2.6 percent Other 41.1 percent

In the latter half of 2012, India had been leading the way but has now fallen back to third, with China leapfrogging into second place after a spell in the lower half of the list.
