Michael Neuman named CISO at Backstop

Michael Neuman has been named Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Backstop Solutions Group, a cloud-based fintech organization.
As the organization's first CISO, Neuman will lead Backstop’s efforts in elevating compliance standards internally, as well as evolving privacy and trust areas in the firm and providing strategic counsel to users to help them better adhere to security by design principles across their organizations.
Neuman has more than 25 years of experience in technology and security. He previously served as Vice President, Information Security at Backstop, where he led compliance and cybersecurity certification efforts at the organization. Neuman has also held cybersecurity executive roles at Textura Corporation, Guaranteed Rate, Restaurant.com and the FTD Group.
