Jon Raper has been promoted to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) role at Costco Wholesale.

According to a statement on LinkedIn, Raper is responsible for ensuring global cybersecurity posture and protecting the information technology (IT) infrastructure of the firm. He brings over 15 years of security experience to the role, serving most recently as Associate Vice President - Deputy CISO at Costco.

Raper has held security roles throughout the retail, government and technology sectors, having served as a Special Agent in the U.S. Secret Service; Director of Security Incident Response at Walmart; and Senior Director of Global Information Security at Oracle.
