Dave Maynor named Senior Director of Threat Intelligence at Cybrary

David "Dave" Maynor has been appointed Senior Director of Threat Intelligence at Cybrary, leading the new Cybrary Threat Intelligence Group (CTIG).
As the leader of CTIG, Maynor says his goal is to "reach an equilibrium where we are aware of new threats and TTPs and can tell everyone why they should pay attention and care, as well as what action to take (even if it’s to wait for more information as it develops)."
Maynor previously was a member of the threat intelligence team at Cisco’s Talos and an X-Force Researcher for Internet Security Systems at IBM.
According to Dark Reading, Maynor is a "jack-of-all-trades hacker who digs into Microsoft software bugs as well as wireless driver vulnerabilities."
