FNTS, managed IT services provider, has announced Chris Williamson as Field Chief Technology Officer (CTO). As a member of the FNTS executive team, Williamson will assist the leading cloud, mainframe and IT managed services provider in developing strategic partnerships and long-term digital transformation initiatives with clients.

Williamson has more than 25 years of experience with leading IT infrastructure, application development and service delivery teams in business environments, ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies. As Field CTO, Williamson will be a trusted advisor to help enterprise clients achieve the desired IT discipline and innovation to meet business objectives through scalable, secure and customized cloud and managed services solutions. Williamson also will be charged with researching industry trends and emerging technologies to help develop nextgeneration capabilities and services that simplify IT operations, enhance cost savings, modernize applications and shorten delivery times.

Williamson holds certifications as an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Practitioner, an International Enterprise Architecture Institute (iEAi) Certified Enterprise Architect (CEA) and a Six Sigma Black Belt.
