Virginia Airports to Receive More Than $13 Million in Funds
U.S. Senators Mark R. Warner and Tim Kaine announced that eight Virginia airports will receive $13,260,486 in funds from the Department of Transportation’s (DOT) Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to help enhance new and existing infrastructure. The airports receiving funding serve the following Virginia cities: Charlottesville, Culpeper, Danville, Farmville, Mattaponi, Melfa, Quinton, and Roanoke.
“We’re pleased to announce this funding to help Virginia airports improve their infrastructure,” said the Senators. “These grants will support our local airports as they work to make travel easier for Virginians.”
