In many facilities, access control technology is utilized only on main entrances, while remaining perimeter and interior openings employ mechanical locking exit devices, and managing those openings manually is often inefficient and prone to human error. Sielox has integrated its Advanced Access Control Software with Allegion’s Von Duprin Remote Undogging and Remote Monitoring options, so facility administrators and first responders can remotely monitor secondary egress/entry points and remotely unlock them from a secure location. These capabilities can also reduce the time and risks associated with manually touring a facility to lock or unlock doors.
