In an effort to increase security of passports, the U.S. State Department said U.S. passport holders will no longer have the option to pay for additional page inserts.
U.S. passport holders will soon no longer have the option of paying for additional 24-page visa inserts when their books lack enough space for entry or exit visa stamps. "The decision to discontinue this service was made to enhance the security of the passport and to abide by international passport standards," the State Department said.
