Security On Campus Celebrates Name Change, Anniversary
Security on Campus, Inc. has changed its name to the Clery Center for Security on Campus (“Clery Center”), according to a Campus Safety Magazine article.
In honor of its new name and to celebrate the organization’s 25th anniversary, the Clery Center will host Proceeding in Partnership, Oct. 4-5, 2012. The conference will take place at the Capital Hilton in Washington, D.C., and participants are invited to join the Center’s staff, board and special guests on the evening of October 4 for a reception.
The Clery Center will present the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Award to officers Allison Jacobs and Lisa Campbell, who were instrumental in the capture and arrest of Phillip Garrido in relation to the kidnapping of Jaycee Dugard.
In addition, Officer Jacobs will serve as the event’s keynote speaker.
