Biometrics offer an advanced level of security, and hand geometry technology is one of the most accurate technologies. The hand geometry interface from Morse Watchmans can be integrated with any of their KeyWatcher® or KeyBank® system cabinets. The hand reader function provides additional security measures for accessing the cabinets and can be used in conjunction with the keypad or other access devices. The HandKeyCR, manufactured by Schlage, recognizes hand size and shape and matches the handprint to the template originally stored for that employee ID number. If there is a match, access is granted and the entry is recorded. The hand reader features an expandable memory and is field upgradeable.
