PriceWaterhouseCoopers named Edward Gibson, a former FBI agent and former Chief Security Advisor for Microsoft LTD in the UK, as the director of the U.S. Forensics Technology Solutions practice. Gibson’s duties will include aiding organizations with issues surrounding money laundering, economic espionage, theft of intellectual property and cyber fraud.

 

In his position as Chief Cyber Security Advisor, Gibson served at Microsoft Ltd UK’s chief spokesperson on matters related to cyber security and IT infrastructure risk management. Gibson also served for more than 15 years as a Special Agent with the FBI. During that time he investigated fraud, economic espionage, money laundering, intellectual property theft and public corruption. He also served as an FBI Assistant Legal Attache with the American Embassy in London.
