Cooper Notification, an operating unit of Cooper Industries, Ltd. (NYSE:CBE), will launch a mass notification system (MNS) demonstration and educational tour throughout Texas. The MNS tour, which will be demonstrated in cities throughout Texas including El Paso, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio, will display Cooper Notification’s comprehensive indoor and outdoor notification systems. In addition, the tour will educate emergency officials and university administrators on the topic of how to effectively communicate to residents, visitors and students before, during and after an event. This live demonstration will be shown through Cooper Notification’s multi-layered solutions. 

On the tour, Cooper Notification’s technical experts will utilize the company’s Mobile Command and Response Vehicle (MCRV) to explain the multi-layer indoor, outdoor and text/voice mass notification solutions. The launch will showcase the WAVES (Wireless Audio Visual Emergency System) High Power Speaker Array, which broadcasts emergency messages over wide areas, SAFEPATH indoor voice evacuation system, and the Roam Secure Alert Network (RSAN™) for emergency text alerting. Cooper Notification’s Wheelock and MEDC branded fire and security appliances and devices will also be featured.
