From Bosch Security Systems, the MON171CL flat screen video surveillance monitor has been added to its product portfolio. This newest Philips-branded monitor includes a 17-inch (43-cm) color thin film transistor (TFT) active matrix LCD panel with 1280 by 1024 pixels providing the highest TV lines of resolution in the industry for an LCD panel of this size. With 150º horizontal and 140º vertical wide screen viewing, the unit can be installed on a desktop, or can be wall or rack-mounted.
