San Jose Calif.-based Bluelon’s BlueReader BRW-200 is a new type of wireless device compatible with virtually any existing Wiegand-based access control system. The reader is capable of opening existing doors and allows legacy access control systems to be upgraded with Bluetooth technology, enabling everyday devices such as mobile phones, BodyTags and PDAs to intelligently interact with the access control infrastructure.
