Magnasphere Switch

From Magnasphere, an ISC SIA New Product Showcase entry, the patented MAGNASPHERE switch has been developed for use as a non-contact, defeat-resistant, security sensor. The MAGNASPHERE switch has the following advantages over reed switches, which are currently used universally in security systems: • Cannot be defeated by a stronger magnet • Contacts will not weld when exposed to high voltage • Steel construction is far more robust than reed switch’s glass composition • Smaller size, more cost effective packaging options Overall, a single MAGNASPHERE switch provides the same level of protection as multi-switch BMS high security devices, at a fraction of the size and cost.
