OpenAI, Claude and Other Chatbot Outages Reported

This morning, notable AI chatbots such as ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, Gemini and more reported outages.
OpenAI had the highest number of outage reports at 37,000 reports filed by 11 a.m. EDT. By that time, Claude outage reports reached 1,324. Grok’s reached 1,365 about an hour earlier, and only 500 reports were issued for Gemini.
The Independent reported that some users attempting to access ChatGPT witnessed “an array of strange behaviour,” including the site trying to download a file.
Most outage reports seem to have been resolved by this afternoon.
