LAX Security Guard Found With 24 Pounds of Fentanyl, Facing Charges
A security guard for the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) was allegedly caught with 24 pounds of fentanyl in the restroom, according to CBS News. The guard has been charged with possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance.
Miguel Angel Tuz-Noh, 24, was caught allegedly attempting to distribute drugs to Anthony Olvera, 23, who has been charged with the same felony as Tuz-Noh. The two men were detained upon exiting the restroom, and officers seized a duffel bag from Olvera, finding 10 packages (or approximately 24.3 pounds) of fentanyl inside.
Investigators noted that the men’s restroom Tuz-Noh and Olvera were discovered in, located at Terminal 6, had a reputation for drug trafficking.
Agents at the DEA suspect Tuz-Noh had connections to a greater drug trafficking organization, helping to smuggle more than 220 pounds of fentanyl via LAX since October 2025.
