U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Acting Secretary Chad F. Wolf announced that President Donald J. Trump signed a proclamation that places new, tailored visa restrictions on six countries that failed to meet a series of security criteria.

Almost all visa applicants to the United States will now be required to submit the social media usernames, email addresses and phone numbers they’ve used in the past five years.

The European Parliament voted "to force Americans to apply for visas before visiting Europe this summer."
