New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg said Monday that his administration has successfully carried out the largest gun seizure in the city’s history, according to RT. 

Citing Fourth Amendment violations and readily demonstrated evidence of racial discrimination, a federal judge has ordered a complete overhaul of the NYPD's stop-and-frisk policy.

The NYPD conducted only 99,788 stop-and-frisks during the first quarter of 2013, compared with 203,500 during the same period in 2012.
