Eric Welling

Eric Welling brings 30 years of state and federal law enforcement experience to his current position as the North American Lead for the Accenture Security, Cyber Investigation and Forensics Response (CIFR) group. Under his leadership, this team of experienced incident responders work to help prevent and recover from cyber critical incidents, including criminal and advanced persistent threat (APT) attacks, fraud, insider threats and enterprise failures. Prior to joining Accenture, Welling spent nearly 24 years at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), rising from roles as an FBI investigator, instructor and inspector to his final position as the deputy assistant director of the bureau’s Investigative Operations, Cyber Division. His investigative experience also included roles as a U.S. Secret Service agent and police officer.
