Mass shootings, like the one that occurred at the Walmart Supercenter on the east side of El Paso, Texas on August 3, 2019, are sadly becoming more common.

My first thought on August 3, 2019, when learning about the mass shooting at a Walmart in El Paso, Texas, was if a good friend of mine who lives there was safe.

The problem with a major security failure is people die and/or are injured as a result.
