The study surveyed 1,406 cybersecurity leaders from across the globe on the ways their organizations look to innovate security. The top areas of focus for security innovation within organizations today are:

  1. Security automation (41% of surveyed leaders)
  2. Security at the silicon level (40%)
  3. Cloud migration (40%)
  4. Education and training (38%)

What drives security innovation?

The security industry is ever-changing. When it comes to drivers of security innovation, 53% percent of respondents say their organizations refreshed their security strategy because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
