Google Launches Hacked-Password Checker

Google has launched a web-based hacked-password checker, called Password Checker.
According to a news report, Password Checker examines the username-password combination stored in Chrome's own password manager and reports back on the authentication pairings that have previously been exposed and found in publicly-known data breaches.
When the user enters his credentials, a warning should pop up, alerting the user that the password has been leaked and needs to be changed, says the report.
