SecuraKey’s new desktop reader/writer unit has a standard USB cable and works with any Windows PC and functions as a Human Interface Device. End-users of the eTag access control solution have access to additional memory on contactless smart cards, which can be used for cafeteria purchases, as library cards, health club memberships, cashless vending, public transportation, airline ticketing, customer loyalty programs, fuel dispensing and network log-on security. It can read or write information to any location on the tag, and can also read the unique identification number from the card chip.
