Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America’s Imaging Products Division recently announced the availability of its new DX-ZD6UE storage expansion unit, to use with certain DVRs. The expansion units may be used in a cascading network of 16 DVRs, increasing possible total storage to 368 terabytes—the highest in the digital security industry. The new units feature increased storage capacity in both one terabyte and 1.5 terabyte models. Up to 14 DX-ZD6UE units may be added to a single DVR for a possible combined total of 21 terabytes of additional storage.
