DoorKing, Inc. has introduced a new slide gate operator. The 9530 model is designed for heavy-duty maximum-security applications. The system is designed to operate gates up to 100 feet long and weighing up to 5,000 pounds. It operates the gate at 2 feet per second. The 9530 also has a unique panic close feature that will quickly close the gate at 6 feet per second if a security breach is immanent. Both operators are equipped with an electrically operated disc brake system and a solid-state speed controller that provides slow-start and slow-stop functions.
