The Simplex 4100U fire detection and alarm platform is a high-end, next generation network system that combines fire protection and information management with low cost installation, maintenance and ownership. In benchmark tests of a 99-node network, the typical alarm response time was 1.6 seconds, far exceeding NFPA "within 20-second" requirement. The distributed network links multiple 4100U control panels in a seamless, highly survivable fire alarm network that can support up to 392,000 addressible analog points.
