Hybrid Linear Actuator
January 23, 2002
Haydon Switch & Instrument, Inc., announces that its size 23 hybrid linear actuators are now available with encoder feedback. The compact optical incremental encoder design is available with two channels quadrature TTL squarewave outputs. An optional index (3rd channel) is also available. The encoder is offered in resolutions ranging from 100 to 2,048 cycles per revolution (CPR or 400 to 8,192 pulses per revolution (PPR). The operating temperatures are -40? to +100?. Simplicity and low cost make the encoders ideal for both high and low volume motion control applications. The internal monolithic electronic module converts the real-time shaft angle, speed and direction into TTL compatible outputs.
