WANTED: Columnists for SECURITY Magazine

With a monthly print and daily online readership of security executives at corporate, institutional, government, commercial and law enforcement organizations, SECURITY magazine educates and influences within the security industry.

You could be part of this exciting SECURITY magazine team.

SECURITY is looking for a few good men and women to be regular columnists for the magazine.

The Requirements

A level of expertise in a specific topic we need – video security or security identification or intrusion detection or security integration.

An ability to write six to ten columns a year – 250 to 350 words each. Each one-magazine-page column should have a fine-focus that can include your view of the specific technology, its application in real-world situations as well as your opinion and advice on future developments and needs.

A color photo of you – supply a professional-looking head-and-shoulders photo in a high-resolution digital format of at least 300 dpi. Artwork, charts and graphics can also be supplied to supplement each column.

The Outcome for You

Solid, positive, constant exposure of yourself and your company.

An “about the author” with each column.

Extended coverage of your print columns on the popular SECURITY magazine Web site.

Unique involvement with SECURITY editors on proprietary research studies and other important industry projects.

Interested? Contact SECURITY magazine with your column idea, the topic (from those above) you wish to cover and a bio. Send your email information to SECURITY Editor Bill Zalud at zaludb@bnp.com. Together we may come to a joint agreement for you to be a columnist for SECURITY. If you have a column idea outside of those listed above, please drop me your idea for quick, professional consideration.

Thank you.
