The George Washington University Homeland Security Policy Institute Names 2010 Senior Fellows
The George Washington University Homeland Security Policy Institute (HSPI) announced the appointment of its 2010 Senior Fellows class.
“The Senior Fellows are an exceptional group drawn from a range of sectors and disciplines. Their expertise and insights will be instrumental in helping to shape and further HSPI’s policy and research agenda,” said Frank Cilluffo, Director of HSPI. The members of the 2010 class are drawn from government, academia, the non-profit and private sectors, with expertise in areas including counterterrorism, radicalization, intelligence and counter-intelligence, crisis communications, the behavioral sciences, interagency policy development and coordination, critical infrastructure protection, public health, community preparedness and resilience, cybersecurity, defense, science and technology policy, and public/private partnerships. Throughout the year, Fellows will participate in roundtable sessions with senior government officials, and collaborate to publish policy papers, including Issue Briefs that speak to the day’s most pressing homeland security challenges.
Among the fellows for 2010 is:
- Lynn Mattice, Chairman, Board of Advisors, Security Executive Council;
- Philip Mudd, Former Deputy Director, National Security Branch, FBI and Former Deputy Director, Counterterrorist Center for the Central Intelligence Agency;
- Daveed Gartenstein-Ross, Director, Center for Terrorism Research Foundation for Defense of Democracies.
