There has been a spate of “theft of trade secrets” charges this summer. CNBC is reported today that a Russian immigrant was just arrested for theft of trade secrets and the cable business news network identified the victim as Goldman Sacks. In late June, a former northwest suburban man was indicted on federal charges for stealing trade secrets from his former employer, Valspar Corp., the paint company.
The Wall Street incident calls into question the protection of such systems from insiders.
