After consulting with ISC attendees, exhibitors, supporters and Associations, a consensus was reached to return the conference to its roots — once again calling it ISC East.

According to a press release sent out by the convention organizers, very few people had effectively adopted the name "ISC Solutions," and they would continue to call it ISC East. 

The exhibition, to be held October 30-31 at the Javits Center will feature more than 300 exhibitors. The event will focus on retrofitting and updating security installations to increase profits, as well as achieving business optimization. 

Unique to the Northeast conference, ISC East will be the centerpiece for SIA Security Week, which also includes Securing New Ground, the Security 500 Conference and Recognition Dinner, and the Security Week Gala, presented by ISC East sponsor and partner, SIA. 

A new mobile application for smartphones will make navigating the ISC East show floor easier than ever. ISC East Mobile will feature educational sessions, special events, show floor locations and an online exhibitor directory and interactive map. It can be downloaded prior to the conference through the App Store for Apple products, and on the ISC East website for Blackberry and Android phones.
